2008 Pilgrimage of Magdalene and the Holy Grail

Limited to 16 women, so sign up early!


The cost for this year's pilgrimage is $2800 US and includes:

• Airfare from Bristol, England to Edinburgh, Scotland on June 23 and from Edinburgh, Scotland to London Heathrow on June 26.

• All ground transportation—private van and driver transport in England and Scotland, including from London Heathrow Airport to Glastonbury and from Edinburgh Airport to Rosslyn.

• All entry fees, guides, special presentations, music and legends

• All B&B accommodations based on double occupancy (Includes daily breakfast)
(Single supplement as available $660 to cover extra room cost)

• Meals include all breakfasts, an organic home-cooked welcoming light supper at Chalice Well, special picnic lunches in Avalon and other places, organic snacks and Last Supper in Roslin, Scotland .
(Allow 10 -15 Pounds per day for food. Remember, breakfasts are included).

• Chalice Well private kitchen: For our five days in Glastonbury, we have use of the fully equipped country-style kitchen, which looks out upon the gardens. One can choose to prepare food here and use the lovely dining room, or eat lunch or dinner at one of the local restaurants. (Vegetarian and fishy-meaty fare, organic green grocer, organic bakery and a great whole food shop available)

Cost does not include:

• Roundtrip airfare to London Heathrow

• Any meals besides the ones listed above. Cost of meals in UK can range from 5 Pounds on up, depending on food preferences. Cooking at our Glastonbury retreat house is an economical and healthy option.

• An appreciation tip for our two lovely drivers.

Flight Arrangements:

All flights must arrive at London Heathrow Airport by noon June 15 as our Avalon coach departs for Glastonbury at 1 pm.

• Departure from US is the day before, on June 14th!

• Schedule departure from London Heathrow on June 26th, no earlier than 12 noon! Our flight arrives at LHR from Edinburgh about 9:40 am to allow two hours before US bound flights.

Deposits and Payments:

• Non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure your place on the journey (limited to only 16 women!) due by December 1, 2007.
• 2nd payment $800 due February 1st—3rd payment $750 due March1st—final payment $750 due April 1st. (Visa and MasterCard payments add 3%)

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made 60 days prior to departure will receive a 50% refund of amount paid, not including initial non-refundable deposit of $500, used to secure lodging. No refunds will be made on cancellations 30 days prior to departure.

Travel Documents:

• Valid passport plus a Xerox copy to take with you, in case its lost.

Baggage:

• One piece of luggage, plus one carry-on only. Please travel as light as possible, as we stay in small hotels with narrow steep stairs and no elevators, and we carry our own luggage. Believe me, you will be grateful you packed less rather than more!
• A backpack is useful on daytrips.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing, as weather can always be changing momentarily in Britain! Normally it is mild and warm in June. Include an umbrella and rainproof jacket.
